Jill Culiner is an author who divides her time Europe and Canada. Her previous book, Finding Home In the Footsteps of the Jewish Fusgeyers, was published in 2004 and won the Tanenbaum Prize for Canadian Jewish History and was short-listed for the Fore-Word Magazine Prize.

Two mysteries, Death by Slanderous Tongue, and Sad Summer in Biarritz, present the darker side of life in France.
